Most of the fabric in this quilt was acquired when I was on a bus trip a couple of years ago. At each of the twelve quilt shops, we would pick up two strips of fabric. I promptly brought them home and put them in a drawer. About a month ago I found them and added another sixteen strips make a jelly roll out of them. I think the finished quilt has a southwestern feel to it.
Here it is without the borders.
And this is Pam Raymond our piecer. Thank you so much Pam for coming out and helping at the community sew day. I hope to have this quilt quilted next week.
Yes, this quilt has a southwestern 'flair' to it; but it is the border that really set it off! It's a beauty! :)
